I’m finding myself really resisting the ‘hustle and bustle’ that ordinarily comes with the Christmas season.
This can be a stressful time, especially when there are challenges in relationships with family members and others.
The expectations and judgements just seem to be magnified when we let ourselves get caught up in what seems to be important. Those judgements are what make us feel separate from one another.
It all can feel so complicated.
I am feeling drawn to the simple things lately and in the coming year. But I am realizing that the holiday season is the perfect opportunity to come back to love, which is in Reality the simplest thing of all. That is when we are willing to let go of all we thought to be important and true about others, about events, seasons, circumstances…everything. So for today, in this moment at least, I choose to see beyond the vail of perception and illusion with the eyes of love.
